Does Constant Severe Testicular Pain After Back Surgery And Physical Therapy Require Medical Attention ?
I had a back surgery approximately 4 months ago, I had a lamectomy at L-4-L5 and L-5 - S-1. I was in an accident a couple of months later where I was hit and now have 2 additional bulges as well as seroma and scar tissue where I had surgery. After physical therapy I had developed sever testicular pain that is constant. Should I seek medical attention for this?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of back surgery approximately 4 months ago, you had a lamectomy at L4-L5 and L-5 - S-1. You had an accident a couple of months later where you were hit and now have 2 additional bulges as well as seroma and scar tissue where you had surgery. After physical therapy you had developed sever testicular pain that is constant. Should I seek medical attention for this? Surely indeed, you should seek immediate medical attention, go for urgent ultrasonography and color doppler examination to see for and rule out testicular torsion, where the correction has to be withing 6 hours of an attack. This will also see for any enlargement, infection, hydrocele development. You also need the examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist. Further treatment will be as per the investigations
