Hi, I'm experiencing pain in my right eye somewhere behind the top eyelid whenever I blink. However when I hold my eyes open or roll my eyes it doesn't hurt. I've checked and there appears to be no foreign object in it. It occurred when I was in the middle of class. Could it be a cornea abrasion?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having pain the eyelid whenever you blink. This can be caused by inflammatory lesion of the gland of the eyelid. This is not likely to be corneal abrasion as you do not give history of injury or fall of dust. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drop and oral antiinflammatory drugs for pain relief.
Thank you
