Does Cymbalta Have Any Side Effects Like Mood Swings?

Doctor took me off of 30mg Cymbalta two weeks ago, I asked him if i should be weaned off of it He said no because what I am taking is a low dose, now after 2 weeks I have been getting dizzy and wonder if he was wrong about going cold turkey on it. Reason he told me to stop taking it was that it made my mood bad, so he was trying to see if that is what was causing it. There has tho been an improvement in me from stop taking it.

There is no need to wean off cymbalta (duloxetibe) if you need to stop it. The amount of drug in the blood drops by half every 12 hours and doctors usually allow about 5 days before considering it totally out of your system. Therefore, dizziness that appears 2 weeks after stopping is very unlikely to be due to withdrawal (which was happening over 10 days earlier.
