Does Cystoscopy During Pregnancy Cause Any Harm To The Baby?
I wonder if the Cystoscopy affects my pregnancy, I have an appointment on Aug 21 for my follow up Cystoscopy and I have to do two more before my due date. Since am 41 I’m already high risk and I don’t know if the Cystoscopy makes it worsts I’m so worried please help.

It is usually not preferred to get any pelvic procedure during pregnancy as it can irritate the uterus. Also, the medications used during the procedure can impair fetal well being or growth. Thus, the procedure should be performed only after consulting with your obstetrician and if absolutely necessary.
