Does Dark Yellow Urine With Brown Tint After Appendectomy Suggest UTI?

My wife just had an appendectomy six days ago. She now has a very dark yellow with a brownish tint urine output with a strong aroma. I m thinking UTI and possible dehydration . Her fluid intake has been lower than normal in the last 48 hours. Am I on the right track? Donnie Ferris

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
It is most likely to be due to inadequate water intake and dehydration. She should drink plenty of water. If problem remains persists after that then she should go for urine examination to check for urinary tract infection.
Then she should take treatment if required.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
