Does Delayed Period And Breasts Tenderness Indicate Pregnancy?

Me and my partner had sex last sept 24 ang thats also the time of my expcted period cos i have irregular period but there is no sypmtoms that i ovulate like tendered breast, its been 4days since i missed my period and i notice that my breast is tendering i wonder if im pregnant or one of the reason is my sleeping routine due to delayed period.pls response thanks sir

Hello there, thanks for posting your query!
As you have irregular periods there is no way to know or even to suspect pregnancy on missing periods. Breast tenderness is a sign of ovulation and it usually goes away when periods set in. However it can be tender during pregnancy too.
But these speculations are no fool proof methods and I suggest you to take up a urine pregnancy test at home which will instantly tell if you are pregnant or not. If it turns out negative, there is nothing much to worry as you are sure to get your periods albeit late. If you have breast tenderness every month preceding periods and if it bothers you, you may take vitamin E capsules for 3 months to ease out the pain.
