Does Delayed Periods Indicate Pregnancy?

hi, about a week ago my boyfriend and i were hooking up. we began to get into it and began dry humping. I had on no pants an underwear and he had on boxers an basketball shorts. we only did this for about two minutes then stopped. my period is only a day late but i have never been late or missed a period. is there anyway i could be pregnant?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If there was no penetration then it is highly unlikely that pregnancy can occur.

For pregnancy to occur it is necessary for sperm to come into contact with the eggs. This is not likely to occur if no penetration has occurred.

You may want to consider starting on a form of contraception to reduce the chance of pregnancy occurring if you and your partner should inadvertently have penetrative intercourse.

There are different forms of contraception available such as condoms, oral contraceptive, injections, patches.

I hope this helps
