Does Diabetes Cause Bleeding In Stool?

hello i am very upset i got urea nitrogen 20.2 and when i pass the stool i got bleeding . i am diabatic too.i had the problem of bleeding when i pass the stool since the last three years . i took lightly caz twice time bleeding in a year . i am very upset pls tell me what to do

Dear if you are passing fresh blood it may due to Haemorrhoids or fissure. Gi bleed also aggravate blood uria nitrogen levels. Diabetes probably won't cause blood in stools. But some diabetic patients with immunocompromised may develop infections of bowel may pass blood along with mucous.

Please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
