Does Dizziness Indicate Sinus Infection Or Consultation With A Neurologist?
Starting back in December 2013 I had an episode of vertigo attributed to severe sinus infection and fluid behind my ears. Since then the vertigo has on and off bothered me, but typically a blurb and over. Over the past two weeks I have had more constant and chronic episodes with the dizziness; however, my nose is dry and sinuses seem too dry as well. Is this a sinus infection or should I seek a neurologist.
Hi. This Vertigo was started due to infection but it is possible that the original infection may get alright yet the sequel remain on. Get CT scan of the Sinuses and Mastoids to see any remnants of infection and get treated accordingly. You may also need MRI of the brain, semicircular cananls, MRI angigraphy of the neck and brain to rule out certain causes, Neurologist's opinion should be sought.
