Does Dizzy And Foot Instability When Having Sugar Included Food Indicates Diabetes?
I have recently been feeling dizzy and not stable on my feet. I have done numerous check-ups with no helpful results. Very strangely I have found out, by sheer luck, that if I eliminate sugar and sugar-filled drinks from my diet my dizziness and balance challenges simply just go away. Does this mean that I am diabetic (even though the tests show that I am negative??
Hello and welcome to HCM, Diabetes can present in number of ways. Feeling hungry, feeling thirsty, excessive urination, numbness of extremities are few of the symptoms of diabetes. Dizzy is not a common feature of diabetes. However, you need to get your fasting blood sugar levels done. Fasting sugar is done after fasting for 8 hours (overnight). Besides fasting blood sugar you need to get your blood pressure measured. You can consult your physician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
