Normally, very small amount of active ingredients of pill 72 may appear in breast milk. This small amount, even if present in the breast milk, it is not thought to be harmful to the baby. The pill 72 has a success rate of about 90% in preventing unwanted pregnancy, if taken within 24 hours of sexual act.
