Can epilepsy be caused in a man whose mother drank alcohol or is it inherited from a defective gene? Ans: Yes epilepsy can have a genetic cause.

Does epilepsy cause fits of anger before a grand mal strike? Ans: Yes some of these preictal episodes can happen. They are not common, but possible.

Is there help for family members so they can learn how to better cope with someone in their family that has emotional and mental issues? If so, where? Ans: Yes, a lot of support groups are present.
