Does Excessive Exposure To Paint Fumes Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hi, my husband is an industrial painter, he's around paint fumes and probably other fumes as well. He lymph nodes are swollen under his chin and on his upper jaw. Could this swelling be due to fumes. He is not running a fever, not on any abx. the nodes hurt only when touched and compressed.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
The chemicals in paint aerosals may cause inflammatory adenitis that is painful lymph node enlargements. since it involves long duration there may not be any fever due to infection.
But he may require FNAC from the lympnode for confirmation and to rule out lymphnode TB.
Take care
