Does Exposure To Asbestos Cause Sarcoidosis?
Hi my name is Tomesa Dudley and I ve had Sarcordosis for thirty years, my systems started when I was working in a dept store in California when I had to leave my job and later find out that the store had asbestos in the building. My question to you is could this have caused in myself getting Sarcordosis and resp disease? Thank you

Asbestos does not cause sarcoidosis. It does however cause other respiratory illnesses, including a form of lung cancer called mesothelioma. Hope this answers your query. If you have more questions, I would be happy to answer them.
