Does Femoral Endarterectomy Cause Discomfort In The Upper Thigh?
i had a common femoral endarterectomy two weeks ago , is it common for the upper thigh area to feel as though it is bruised inside for some time after surgery also when is it safe to take exercise and start walking again ive been told that because I live on a hill I have to wait 3=4 weeks
Endarterectomy and related procedures can cause severe post operative pain. As a first line of management you can take analgesics like Tramadol or Gabapentin for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a vascular surgeon and get evaluated.
