Dr. I have been trying to conceive since last September but yet not succeded, recently in feb I had some hair follicular infection in breast for wich Itook amoxycillin & clindamycin tablets.in last may I was detected with thyroid prblm & my tsh level was 15.3...now I m taking eltroxin 50 mg & thyroid is normal,1.8...my dr has adviced me to take fertyl 50 mg, will it be ok to take it..is there any complication or matter of concern for me?
Fertyl is used to stimulate ovulation and is helpful in women having problems with ovulation. Thyroid dysfunction causes irregular ovulation so treating it helps in conceiving.
I suggest that you use fertyl as well as do an ovulation study while taking fertyl to help you conceive as then you can track ovulation and keep sexual contact on the day of ovulation and have maximum chances of conception.
