Does Fever With Chills Require Urgent Medical Care?
Yesterday and this morning my baby boy (2ys. old) had a fever. We gave him a fever reducer and now about 5 hours later he s freezing with the chills. What could be going on? Should I take him to the ER or should I just schedule and appointment with his doctor?

He might be having fever with chills due to some viral or bacterial infection.
nothing to worry, this might remain for few days to cure infection.
Give him medicine for fever as and when required.
give him enough water and liquids and keep him well hydrated.
If fever persisted then consult your doctor and get examined and investigated like blood and urine.
