Does Fibroid In Uterus During Pregnancy Lead To Miscarriage?

Hello,
I am 26 yrs old and viewed to be 5weeks 3days pregnant and have been confirmed having two fibroid one measure 2.02*1.75cm and the other measures 1.47*1.88cm .They are located in the posterior wall can these affect my pregnancy in terms of miscarriage please answer me worried and its my first pregnancy.Thanks

Hi, Thanks for writing..
Small fibroid doesnot cause miscrriage.. If the placenta is lying over it,it can affect the blood supply to fetus.. Subserous and intramural fibroid doesnot cause problem.. Pain over the fibroid in pregnancy can be due to red degeneration of the fibroid.. Hope I have answered your query.. good day..
