Does Food Poisoning During Pregnancy Affect The Baby?
I have read conflicting reports on food poisoning during pregnancy. Some say it does not affect the unborn child and just passes through the digestive tract. Others state that depending on whether it is a virus or bacteria it can be transferred to the unborn child. I am 36 weeks pregnant and had it for 24 hours. What blood tests can I get my doctor to order to check what it was? Thanks
