Does Frequent Inhalation Of Acetone Cause Asthma And Sticky Eyes?
hiya i am a mother of a 3 year old little boy lennon, we have been living in a flat above a beauty shop since he was born, the smell in our flat is really strong of the acetone they use to remove nail varnish, i recently looked it up on the internet and it come back that this can be harmfull to inhale over a period of tme. My son in the last year has been back and to, to the doctors with his chest, asthema, sticky eyes etc i was wondering could this be the cause of this inhaling acetone?
It may be possible that could be due to acetone poisoning because it is very frequently used in beauty shops in nail polish. Poisoning may cause effect on brain and lungs. Poisoning may also occur due to new paint in your house. Skin and eye problems also occur. It can be tested as keton in blood and urine test. For prevention, always use mask. Keep you windows open for proper ventilation. Also prevent eye and skin contact and keep the baby away from paint and polish. Hope this will be fine. Take care...
