Does Frequent Vomiting And Stomach Pain Indicate Appendicitis?
My boyfriend seems to throw up very often and we can t figure out why. I thought maybe a food allergy or lactose intolerant but we can t figure it out. Tonight he is having horrible stomach pain and threw up. He also can t stop using the bathroom. Is it appendicitis?
In appendicitis vomitting present but pain is at right sided iliac fossa ..Still to rule out it USG done.
Here chances of acute ulcer or acute gastritis is seems to be most likely.Take omeprazole for it for 2 week. Avoid spicy food. Avoid use of analgesic like aspirin or brufen excessively. Avoid smoking and alcohol like precipitating factors. Avoid excess use of tea or coffee. Small meal taken with frequent interval.
There are also chance of acute bacterial gastroenteritis.Antibiotic like oflixacin or cefixime need for it.
Do your widal test to rule out typhoid.
If still increasing endoscopy done for further work up.
Take care.
