Hello Doctor, I am planning for baby for past one yr and my friends suggest me that I should not have head bath from day of ovulation till I miss my period, since having head bath hampers implantation and if implantation is done head bath destroys it. Hence I am not able to conceive. Can this be true?
There is no scientific evidence for what your friends suggested. Generally taking head bath will not affect the implantation. If the head remains wet for long periods that can affect the general health.
To increase the possibility of conception, please consult your gynecologist once: - Take tablets for ovulation induction - Follow with follicular study - Plan unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation - Take progesterone supplements in the second half of the cycle, which will increase the chances of implantation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
