Does Headache And Nausea With Negative Pregnancy Test Require Medical Attention?
My period is almost two months late I have taken two pregnancy test but they were negative. Since taking the tests I have been nauseous with headaches and weight gain. Should I go to the doctor or wait to see if my period comes when it would normally.
Hello dear Understand your concern Period delayed by 2 months is not normal and should require medical attention. You did not mentioned your age.
You should consult the gynecologist for your problem. Following are possibility of delayed period: Hormonal imbalance, no ovulation/ovarian cyst/PCOS, endometriosis and adenomyosis/fibroid, high prolactin, thyroid disorder, perimenopausal state Go for following investigations: Reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis USG, ovarian follicle study etc. Period can be induced by giving the progesterone injection in hormonal imbalance. Take healthy diet, avoid stress and do regular exercise Hope this may help you
Contact HCM for any additional query. Best regards Dr. Sagar
