Does Headache Cause Aeration In Brain?

15 year old daughter had a MRA scan for headaches, advised that she has some sort of aeration between the brain and skull. was told thath this is common in birds but not humans. she is being referred to a ear nose and throat specialist. can you provide more information on this condition, causes and possible solutions?

Hello,

In rare cases, there may be an enlargement of the bones of the skull enlargement (they are filled with air). If it is not causing symptoms it is not a problem at all. The ENT Doctor will give you a more comprehensive answer.
