Does Headache, Fatigue With Acnes Suggest STD?
Hi, I had oral (vaginal) sex only ten weeks ago. Now experiencing headaches - no fever or fatigue. Had tetsticular pain about 6 weeks later (have had this twice in the past).Had unptotected sex with female partner two weks after exposure - her period is now late by over one week and she has some acne on her face. I think this could be HIV?

Thank you for query.check with OTC pregnancy kit after 7 days of missed period to rule out pregnancy.some changes in cycles/bleeding and acne do occur due to hormonal changes in female .the other symptoms mentioned in you are not specific and not related to HIV.you can check for HIV RNA PCR after 14 days to rule out HIV if any one as multiple partners.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos and details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
