Does Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Indicate Implantation Bleeding?
Hi , i thought i was pregnant because i had the cramps after ovulation which would even keep me awake at night, but then i started cramping again on my due date of my period then i started bleeding which was heavy like my period at times , could that be implantation? i thought you dont bleed that much with implantation.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Implementation bleeding is usually very scanty like spotting and most often goes unnoticed. Also, following it, your periods will be delayed or missed, which is the first sign that indicates that you could be pregnant. Since you are experiencing heavy bleeding, it might not be implantation bleeding, but regular periods. It states that you have not conceived this time. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
