Does Herbalife For Weight Loss Cause Oesophogeal Spasm?
Hi. Recently I have been doing Herbalife and lost 10 kgs in 10 weeks. I was feeling great. Then, seemingly out of the blue, I began to have pains across my ribs and into my back and arm. My doctor diagnosed oesophogeal spasm and I am taking antacids. I would like to return to the diet as I have more weight to lose but wish to know if this product is safe and/or likely to have caused this condition. Thanks.

I do not think that the oesophageal spam could be due the medicine you are taking but this could be because of the reflex of acid form the gastric region and called "GERD"(Gastric Oesophageal Reflux Disease) if I would be your doctor then I would put you on tab. Omeprazole 40 mg once in day for six weeks this will give very good result and will come around soon have nice day.
