Does High BP During Pregnancy Result In Placental Abruption?

When I was pregnant, I had pre-clampsia and I was on 3 different medications for my blood pressure already and I had been put on mag for my blood pressure, but my blood pressure was staying aroung 185/110. How close was I to having a stroke or seizure? Also when I had my baby through C-section, come to find out my placenta had detached and ruptured, resulting in internal hemorrhage, was that the result of my blood pressure being so high?
