My wife has mild high blood pressure and is taking a pill once a day. She has been doing well with this but today came home from work dizzy and nauseated. Her blood pressure is now 145/99 and she doesn t feel well. Should I bring her in to the emergency room?

Hello! Thank you for the question! Regarding your concern I think that she can try first a fast acting anti hypertensive drug such as captopril, nitroglycerin, nifedipine, if they are available 1 tablet sub-lingual.
But I think it would be more wise to bring her to ER if the complains persist, in order to check also for triggering possible disorders.
Hope to have been helpful to you. Greetings..
