Hello there,
I am 64 y.o. male, (weight-157 lbs., height-5' 8"), very healthy, except for an irritable colon (for more than 40 years). During the years, I consulted different gastroenterologists, I had colonoscopies, gastroscopies etc., but didn't get any treatment. Somehow, I never had a HELICOBACTER PYLORI test...until a few days ago, when I turned to a naturopathic physician. Well, it turned out positive! I have two questions:
a. Should I take antibiotics (we are not best friends!), or should I take a homeopathic remedy (H. Pylory Series Therapy)? [I have 4 friends who turned to this homeopathic therapy after failing time and again with antibiotics and now all the four got rid of the bastard!]
b. One and a half year, I had a terrible VERTIGO (just for a few hours). Of course I've seen the doctor(s), I had some tests, but everything was perfect and the vertigo didn't return. I was advised to take BETAHISTINE HCl 16 mg. tablets for a few days, if this will happen again. This morning, I had again a (much milder) vertigo. I took one betahistine tablet and after a few hours the vertigo ceased.
My question is: Could it be that the vertigo is connected with the H. Pylory ? Should I start immediately the treatment or should I first find out what caused this time the vertigo?
Thank you very much,
Aaron
