Does Hormonal Imbalance Of The Father Causes Birth Defects In Child?
My boyfriend and I conceived a baby 5 weeks ago, at that point he just finished a cycle of steroids. His hormones would have been unbalanced. His body was converting testosterone to estrogen, and I was wondering if this causes birth defects? Or issues with the baby having low testosterone?
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic I have gone through your question and I understood your problem. steroids have hormonal effects and can reduce sperm quality and quantity. So they can reduce your chance of conceiving, but are unlikely to cause an increased risk of fetal malformations.steroids are, of course, potentially dangerous if abused and should only be used under close medical supervision.Thank you.
