Does Humira Cause Damage To Liver?

I have Crohn s disease and was just diagnosed with spondyloarthropathy last week. My ALT lab was very high, a 67 (in contrast with past tests which were in the teens and twenties). In May, I had a reaction to HUMIRA, and a couple days after the first four injections I had intense joint pain and swelling, especially in my hands, finger joints, feet, heels. I did read that HUMIRA could cause damage to the liver. Is a 67 something to be concerned about?

Thanks for using healthcaremagic. I understand your concern.
Brief answer:No need to be concerned.
Detailed answer:In my opinion,ALT level of 67,shouldn't be a problem with humira(adalimumab) therapy but needs careful monitoring with liver function tests. If I am your physician, would consider adding livolin forte like hepatoprotective drug twice daily in future if levels goes on increasing or clinical deterioration.Hope this information helps you.If any further questions, happy to answer you.. Take care.
