Does Hypothyroidism Lead To Weight Gain?

I have been gaining weight, even though I am dieting. My pulse rate is 95 -110. Blood pressure a little high. I am fatigued, no energy and feel depressed cause I feel so rotten. Had blood test today and my tsh is 7.62. I see Dr. Next week. Do you feel that hypothyroism could be my problem.

Yes, hypothyroidism can lead to weight gain and the other symptoms you have described. TSH is mildly raised. I suggest seeing your doctor who might need to start you on thyroxine replacement. Kind Regards
