Does Hysterectomy Or Myomectomy Cause Weight Gain?
Yes please, I have already gained 50 pounds thru all this hormones going in I have a choice of a hysterectomy or a myomectomy I m 37yrs old I ve never had a belly scar but I need to know will more weight gain on me after either sugery or will it begin to fall off...I m out my mind and afraid.

If you are using hormonal medications, that may cause weight gain, because of the presence of fibroids, and the fibroids are removed then weight loss should occur when the medications are discontinued.
The procedure itself, would not affect your weight, it would neither cause weight gain or loss.
