Does Increased Echo-pattern, Partially Differentiated Cortico-medullary Require Attention?
my mother in law aged 86 had us abdomen and pelvis done. the results showed both kidneys having icreased echopattern with partially differentiated cortico- medullary differentiation, no calculus/hydronephrosis. can i know is something wron g with her kidneys
Hi, The ultrasound findings you have mentioned are not normal. But they have to be deciphered in the background of ultrasound picture of liver,spleen,blood-kft,lft,presence of diabetes,urine reports etc
