Does Ingested Glue Get Dissolved And Does It Lead To Cancer?

I need to know what happens to glue that has been accidentally swallowed after it has dried - does it get stuck to parts of the mouth, oesophagus, stomach, etc. and stay there forever or does it eventually become 'unstuck' but get 'dissolved' by the gastric juices of the stomach and get absorbed into our bodies or does it pass through the stomach and get expelled? Also, what is the likelihood that you could get cancer from swallowing glue, seeing as it is carcinogenic?

It is hard to say exactly without knowing the type of glue that was swallowed. In general however, I would say that the glue will pass harmlessly through the gut. Even if a glue were to stick to any part of the digestive tract, cells are constantly being shed and renewed so any adherent glue would simply wash away once it had cured/hardened.
