Does Inhaling Substance With Horrible Smell And Bad Taste Serious?

2 friends of mine were mowing a lawn and ran over something possibly poison ivy and they both started coughing, eyes burning, and their tongues and mouth burning after inhaling whatever it was that the lawnmower ran over. they washed eyes with water and washed out their mouths. can inhaling this cause serious problems? they are not sure if it was ivy or what it was. had a horrible smell to it and bad taste in their mouths. thank you

It must be some kind of poison.

Ivy never causes such a symptoms.

Keeping eye on symptoms is just sufficient. If you find that the symptoms are worsening than contact to ER immediately.

You can take Tab. cetrizine, Tab. Prednisolone and paracetamol to recover from such a condition.

Nothing more required you will be fine soon.
