Does Inhaling Toxic Fumes During Pregnancy Cause Complications?
I'm 13 wks pregnant and I've mixed bleach and harpic plus toilet cleaner together accidentally and inhaled the fumes for a minute or two and I'm panicking! I've opened windows and closed bathroom door just worried as I'm pregnant. I'm I worrying over nothing.
Most fumes are volatile, meaning they disappear from the lungs soon after inhalation, moreover inhaling for a short time does not cause much effect. Please calm down, panicking may cause more harm than the actual fume inhalation. Do go for your routine antenatal check-ups and have a sonography done in 2nd trimester to rule out any foetal abnormalities.
