Hi, Lobazam (clobazam) is very rarely associated erectile dysfunction; the most common side effect is drowsiness. Zeptol (carbamazepine) has been associated with decreased libido and erectile dysfunction since this drug can decrease the levels of free testosterone. Oleptol (oxcarbazepine) is not associated with erectile dysfunction. Male epilepsy patients who experience sexual dysfunction while taking carbamazepine can be switched to oxcarbazepine to reduce such side effects. I suggest that you talk with your doctor about your concerns. Your doctor will decide whether it is appropriate to make adjustments to your epilepsy medication regimen.
