Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have osteopenia. You have low bone mass compared to normal.
You should take calcium and vitamin D supplements. There is no any major side effects of it. Calcium may leads to constipation and abdominal discomfort but it it acceptable. If you miss the dosage then also nothing to worry. You can take it at any time and if forgot then its ok. It is just nutritional supplements so no need to worry.

You should also take diet rich in calcium and go for regular exercise.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
