Does Irregular Menstruation Hinder Conception?
hi... i am seeing irregular periods since 5-6 years.... am 24years old now, got married last year and we are planning for a baby .... since three months i dint get my periods till date.i consulted gyno the doc gave me folsafe tab... can i ever concieve? am really worried...

Good sperm count in male partner & menstruation with ovulation is primary need for conception.
You have irregular periods. Please get your ovulation study done to acertain it.
* In case it is present &the semen is normal you can try with unprotected sex around ovulation day ( can be assessed with LHsurge test).. for 6 days ftom the +ve test.
*Consult gynecologist if ovulation is absent. You would need investigations &specific treatment after finding the cause.once the ovulation is established... try as explained above.
