Does It Hurt To Have Sex During Ankle Fracture?

My husband has a splint on his leg because on Friday he broke his leg right above the ankle. He was told to keep his leg elevated above his heart but he keeps trying to get me to have sex with him. I am worried it will affect his ankle. Will it hurt him if we have sex?

Hello,

Hurting the ankle totally depends upon the position acquired while having sex. As in certain position, it may be safe and certain position it may not be. Having deciding which position to take it totally depends upon your husband.

On a safer side, it's better to avoid because due to the splint there might be additional problems coming up and the healing process may get disturbed at the injured site.

Still doing is safe when he is down and you are up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
