Does Itching Sensation In The Vagina During Periods Need Medical Attention?

Hi, I started to get vaginal inflammation and itchiness two days after my periods started . I have a 7 day cycle and I am on day 5 today and it is the same . Should I wait for it to get better on its own or consult a doctor right away ? (Last intercourse was three weeks back)

Hi,

Vaginal infection to be ruled out here through per speculum examination. Vaginal suppositories may help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
