Does Larginine 500mg And Lornithine 250mg Helps To Increase Height?
Hello Dr. My 13 year-old daughter is 5 4 . She wants to have 2-3 taller. Is it safe for her to take l arginine 500mg and l ornithine 250mg 2x a/day? She is also taking fenugreek tea now. Likewise, my 11 year-old son is 4 10 . Can I give him l arginine 500mg and l orithine 250mg 1x/day to add on to his natural height? Thank you Dr.
Good day and thank you for the question. Your daughter at 5ft 4in is of good height, likewise your son. Which means they are well fed and getting adequate nutrition. These supplements are very good for the body because they are amino acids (arginine and ornithine). However taking them does not mean they will grow taller or not taking them will make them shorter. Its good to take them but hoping they will get taller by taking them should not be the priority, rather our priority should be they are having good nutrition for growth and development. Hope it helps. Thank you.
