Does Late Period Mean Pregnancy?

hi doctor, i'm a 20 year old female i have bin in a long distance relationship for 3 years, the last time i was with my boyfriend was in april dis year. I haven't had my periods since july is it possible that i am pregnant and why is it only showing now?

It is very unlikely that you could be pregnant and you missed your period in July after having intercourse in April. In case of pregnancy, a period would be missed during the next cycle and not after a month. So, I would suggest you to take a urine pregnancy test to exclude the chances of pregnancy. It is important to know if you are on any birth control measures, if you had taken any emergency contraceptive pill, if you have any thyroid hormone abnormalities and if the cycles were regular or not earlier.
