Does Levofloxacin Cause Pain In Knees And Calves And How Long Does It Persist?

I was prescribed levofloxacin for sinusitis. Have stopped taking after pain in knees and calves which is pretty bad, mostly on standing. From the reviews I have read, other people have had these side effects. Can you give me any advice as to how long the pain usually lasts?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears that you had the allergic reaction,to the levofloxacin.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically. Calcium, and vitaminD suppliments and pain killers.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
