Does Levothyroxine Help To Treat Hashimoto's Disease?

My too levels are 355 h. My ultra sound reading shows a slightly heterogeneous echo texture of the parenchyma. They do not represent nodules and do not have discrete capsules. My family doctor has diagnosed me with hashimotos disease. He has started me on levthyroxine 100 mcg . Does that sound right? Should I visit an endocrinologist?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You don't have any nodule but you can have hashimotos thyroiditis and hypothyroidism. If you have these conditions then levothyroxine is the perfect medicine for it. But for diagnosis please provide me your T3, T4 and TSH level as well as anti thyroid antibodies level so that I can help you further.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health
