Does Long QT Syndrome Require Treatment For A 75-year-old Woman?
I have lqts found on a routine physical three weeks ago. Since then I had an echo-stress-echo study which came out fine. I am a 75 y.o. female with controlled DM type 2, controlled HTN,..Should this be treated? Should I have a consult with a cardiology electrophysiologist? This should be answered by a cardiologist.
I've read your query and I understand your concern
I would like to tell you if you are not experiencing any symptoms like syncope or tachycardia then you don't need any treatment for this . Although your stress echo also came out normal that indicates there is nothing to worried about.
Hopefully I answered all your queries Wish you Good Luck
