Does Low Blood Sugar Level Result In Burning Sensation In Hand And Feet?

I am a 48 year old female. I have burning sensation in my hands and feet. Over 1 year ago, my a1c was 5.8 with a fasting glucose reading of 90. I eat healthy, some sweets and exercise 5-6x a week. I have very little body fat. Also, it s very cold where I live. Any thoughts?
