Hi, I am 42 years old. I am 5'7 and weight 144. I have had low hemoglobin in the past and recieved blood transfusions, the reason for this is still unknown. I am now having very low sugar at times, I was tested for pre diabetes but I am not pre diabetic. Could low hemoglobin cause low sugar levels?
low hb can cause low hba1c level , but recurrent hypoglycemia can not be explained , unless the cause of low hb% is established . get total blood count, ferrodinamics, sugar profile done .
